It all started with a dead aloe.

The year was 2020. I was a stressed-out corporate supply chain guy with too many spreadsheets and not enough greenery. I bought an aloe plant for my desk. I killed it. Badly.

But that single plant murder unlocked something. I became obsessed with figuring out what makes plants actually thrive. I studied, experimented, killed a few more (RIP), and slowly transformed my space into a full-blown jungle.

During the pandemic, I decided to turn my obsession into something bigger — a shop that could deliver rare, beautiful, healthy plants to people who were just like me: curious, eager, maybe slightly overwhelmed, but ready to grow.

So, I combined my 10+ years of logistics and shipping experience with a love for tropical plants, and Austin Jungle Co. was born.
